About DJ Dylan

Radio with DJ Dylan
When I was a student at Morton College, I joined the Morton College Radio Club and created my own show, Cool Music Time with DJ Dylan, which combined good music with public service information. My playlist ranged from old rock and roll to future pop - from The Beatles and Tom Petty to Katy Perry and Coldplay. I next attended Columbia College Chicago and majored in radio. I was on WCRX 88.1 FM broadcasting every Wednesday from 11 am to 3 pm. I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Cool Music Time with DJ Dylan
Cool Music Time with DJ Dylan entertains with songs for music lovers of all ages. I hope to be an example for disabled people everywhere to learn and realize that we all can make a difference through determination and following our dreams and passions. When I was writing rock band histories for my podcast Cool Music History Time with DJ Dylan, I was told that I was a good storyteller. My voice is soothing on radio and even more so for narration.

Voiceover/Podcasting
My radio and podcasting work led me to consider using my voice for Voiceover. I record both at Columbia College and at my home studio along with producing my own voiceover demo that you can hear on this website. One of my favorite anime shows is Yu-Gi-Oh GX. When I was playing an episode on YouTube, my mom thought that I sounded like the main character Jaden Yuki. I’m pretty good at acting like Jaden for fun.

I’ve found my passion in radio, podcasting, and voiceover. I have samples of my work on this website. Give me a listen. I’m an Eagle Scout so I’m a determined and hard worker, too. I’m an enthusiastic and meticulous audio producer and look forward to working with you.
